Chair of Internal Combustion Engines at Technische Universität München

The chair of internal combustion engines (Lehrstuhl für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen - LVK) is an entity of the faculty of mechanical engineering of Technische Universität München. Core objectives of LVK are well founded teaching as well as innovative and internationally recognized research in the field of internal combustion engines.
The engine laboratory consists of 13 test beds and a state-of-the-art, extensive measurement equipment. To the laboratory belongs a well equipped workshop. The staff consists of 20 people in workshop and administration and additionally 15 researchers.
Main tasks in this project
TUM will be in charge of test operation of a hybrid engine with 2nd generation vegetable oil.
